Restoring the empty database
In case of a database corruption, it is sometimes necessary to reinitialize the database.
During the setup, a backup of the empty database is done. It is just needed to restore it in order to
reinitialize the database. The procedure is:
Move to the directory: cd /usr/alc
Retrieve the initial hostname: /usr/bin/unzip -l firstBackup.zip -x '*/*' (there is a file with the
hostname-date as filename, write it down)
Rename the archive: cp firstBackup.zip <hostname-date>.zip
Restore this archive: bru_start restore /usr/alc/<hostname-date>.zip

Trace saveData restoreData
To trace the saveData or restoreData command use : "sh -x saveData applioxe --t"
That will set the command in trace mode and permit to get the save error or restore error

No way to restore Open Touch data "Save/restore is running !!!"
Symptom : when running /bru_start restore myfile teh system display : "Save/restore is running !!!
Solution : remove the lock file /tmp/bru_start.lock

No way to restore Open Touch data : otbr.sh failed
Symptom : "otbr.sh restore host" command failed and in bru_start.log we can see :
Archive: ./ice2ct.s10.tss.2012-10-23-10-10.zip
inflating: version.txt
Restore operation was not done because the archive version is higher than the platform version.
Current version 12000040
Archive version 11000080,
Diagnosis : In fact the restore was not done because the version.txt file contained the following line: Version :
1.1.000.080,Installationnotcompleted.
Solution : remove the ",Installationnotcompleted." from version.txt

No way to restore Open Touch data : otbr.sh failed for zip archive
Symptom : [root@tsse106 host]# otbr.sh restore
> --- Check Host Versions ---
> No save was found.
