17.1.1 Directories types

Several types of directories can be accessed:
-
internalDir: users created on OpenTouch
-
phonebookDir: reflects objects retrieved (i.e synchronised) from the OXE . Uses the PMS
OpenTouch server for synchronisation with OXE.
-
LDAP: access to LDAP directory(ies). Can be the the 8770 embedded one and/or customers one.
-
Microsoft Exchange directory: not developed in this document edition
NB1: the 8770 embedded LDAP server gets a management not linked to OpenTouch. It can be managed to
collect information from several sources (OXE, ICM, external LDAP, ...). If the OpenTouch system is
managed to use it, you then get the result of those several sources as well.

17.1.2 Search possibility

When search for an object (user, abb number, ...), the UDAS (Universal Directory Access Server) module
uses the directories defined above.

17.1.3 UDAS synchronisation

UDAS directories synchronization mechanism is used to dump different type of data source containing users
contact card information into ICE special database (the synchro database).
All identified data sources are OTS (Public Phonebook), External LDAP directories, Internal Directory ( user
