MyIC : Software overview

14.1.1 MyIC

For MyIC SIP there is :
Icommunicator.exe
The MyIc core software
Abers.exe
The rtp stack software in charge of the RTP steam : voice and video
ewchost.exe
The ACS client to provide the MyTeamWork Box (Presence/buddy list/chat/sharing...)
To test it individually :

MyICService.exe
The plugin for outlook connection : outlook 2010 only
To avoid the upgrade force by Ice connection :
Edit : C:\Program Files\Alcatel-Lucent\My Instant
Communicator\Options\FullUC\GeneralOptions.xml

To OpenTouch server thru https connection to retrieve configuration, request service and be notified from
ICS and ACS server embedded in ICE
To OpenTouch thru SIP protocol to manage call by connecting the SIPServer on port 5260
To the end point thru RTP : the end point can be a remote rtp stack of a SIP device, the GVP_media for
confefrence, a gateway for RTP//TDM transformation

Configuration

The OpenTouch server information is stored in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Alcatel\MPC\Server
Location : tssc131.fr.alcatel-lucent.com
File is retrieved from OpenTouch server :
IN R1.0x : $CMS_HOME/DevicesDeployment/MYICPCXX
IN R1.1x : $CMS_HOME/DevicesDeployment/MYICPCXX
