Checks: If the free swap is close to 0, your physical memory is not sufficient or memory leaks are eating up
your resources; you may add some swap following the procedure described below as a work-around but it will
not fix the root cause, Refer to the processes tools for the memory usage.
Work-around is swap space is too small: If you have a partition with a lot of unused disk space on your
system, you may use a portion of it it as swap space (example given for 1GB):
# dd if=/dev/zero of=swapfile bs=1024 count=1048576
1048576+0 records in
1048576+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 9.49992 seconds, 113 MB/s
# mkswap swapfile
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 1073737 kB
