Servo mounting screws accessed from outboard flap pivot opening.
On some early production P-47s, the aileron pushrod exit hole was not drilled in the wing trailing
edge spar. If yours does not have the exit hole, find the correct location on the spar by lining up
the aileron horn with servo horn. The aileron horn is located on the TOP of the aileron next to the
center hinge and is greatly recessed. Drill an approx. 8mm hole in the trailing edge spar.
NOTE: Aileron removal makes this considerably easier – simply remove the E clips and hinge
pins and set them aside in a SAFE PLACE!
