10.8 Checking the Incoming indicator: FB-3000
The power for the Incoming indicator will be supplied via the LAN cable which has its
own power supplied via PoE.
When you wish to turn the power off, disconnect the LAN cable.
To confirm whether the Communication unit has LAN connection established with the
Incoming indicator, open the "Device" menu, and execute "Auto detect." If LAN
connection is established, the message "INCOMING INDICATOR / IP address
Software ver." will be displayed.
Note)
The Incoming indicator is one of Class-1, Type-B specifications. When connecting
to an external SW HUB, make sure to select a HUB of "type-B" power supply
type.
To confirm the volume, press any button on the Incoming indicator, and the voice will
be output at the volume currently set.
You can adjust the volume by pressing the [▲] or [▼] buttons, and you can check the
voice volume every time you press the button. When the volume reaches the largest or
the smallest volume, the voice will be output and then a "pip pip" sound will notify you
that it has reached the largest/smallest volume.
For example, when a phone call is received, a buzzer sound will be made and the [ACK]
button LED will be lighted. If you press the [ACK] button or set the indicator OFF
HOOK, the buzzer sound and the LED will be turned off.
