The Cable equalizer default value for FAX-2820 is 01: 1.8 km
6. Once the setting has completed, press the [Stop/Exit] key. "MAINTENANCE" will
be displayed on the LCD.
7. Press [9][9] to exit the maintenance mode.

4.10.3 Initializing EEPROM

If you initialize EEPROM, the WSW setup value will return to the default value, and
the FAX numbers registered by the user will be deleted.
If FAX communication cannot be made in a proper manner, initialize EEPROM.
Procedure)
1. Quickly press the keys in the order of [Menu/set][*][2][8][6][4] to enter the
maintenance mode.
2. Once the equipment has entered in the maintenance mode, "MAINTENANCE" will
be displayed on the LCD.
3. Press [0][1] to execute the initialization process.
While initialization is taking place, "PARAMETER INIT" will be displayed upon
the LCD. Once the initialization process is completed "MAINTENANCE" will be
displayed on the LCD.
4. Make sure to turn the power OFF once after the initialization process is completed.
