When you cannot prepare two physical LAN ports, make the setting for an
additional IP address. This is the connection shown in "Fig. 12.1.3 Connection
type-2". As for the method for make the setting for an additional IP address, refer
to the next page.
When updating the software for the Handset or the Incoming indicator
Use the connection type shown in "Fig. 12.1.3 Connection type-2". You can also use the
connection type shown in "Fig. 12.1.2 Standard connection type-1", too.
You can also have several Handsets or Incoming indicators connected.
All connected devices will be updated by a single operation.
Note)
When you use SW HUB, make sure to use one of PoE specifications. When you
intend to connect the Incoming indicator via the HUB, the HUB needs to be one of
the Type-B specifications.
