1. How to enter the Settings menu)
The operations for making the following settings require the user for Web MMI to
log in in administrator's mode.
In order to login, click admin login located on the upper right side of the Web MMI
screen. The [Administrator login] popup screen will be displayed; enter "Admin"
for the User name, and "01234567" for the Password. By this, "Settings" will be
added to the menu bar.
2. Confirming whether the system in a status where communication is available
After you have turned the power on, all the lights - POWER LED, READT LED, and
STATUS 1-4 except for TX LED - will be lighted. The lighting status for STATUS
LED indicates whether there is any abnormality for the equipment.
The preconditions for READY LED to be lighted are that the antenna is in tracking
status, the GPS is activated, and Registration is completed. This means that all of
READY and STATUS LEDs need to be lighted to be able to establish
communication.
In order to confirm Registration, please follow; Log → Air interface → Registration.
If both Voice and Data are indicated as Success, that means that Registration has
completed successfully.
Setup items regarding data communication
1. Confirming the setting for OTA
OTA is the abbreviation for "Over The Air", and it refers to the function where the
SIM contents can be re-written using wireless communication. The setting can be
made via; Settings → Basic settings → OTA.
Set this setting to "Enable".
If it has become necessary to change the SIM, the user simply needs to make the
request to the provider; the SIM will be re-written automatically via the satellite line.
