D. 4.12 Ride-height control switch, front axle

With the ride-height control switch (12) for the front axle it is possible to temporarily bypass the automatic ride-height control.For instance if there is insufficient
ground clearance or when a speed ramp or pavement has to be mounted.
Application of the ride-height control:
• Press the ride-height control switch for approx. 5 seconds
• The sweeper will lift
• The light in the switch lights up
• The sweeper remains elevated for approx. 25 seconds
• The light in the switch will switch off
• The sweeper will drop down.
NOTE
IN THIS ELEVATED POSITION YOU MUST NOT DRIVE FOR LONGER PERIODS AND/OR WITH A SPEED OF MORE THAN 4 KM/H.
DRIVING IN AN ELEVATED POSITION CAUSES MORE WEAR AND TEAR ON THE TYRES.
IF IT IS NECESSARY TO DRIVE FOR MORE THAN 15 SECONDS IN THE ELEVATED POSITION, YOU MUST PRESS THE RIDE-HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH
AGAIN AFTER THE LIGHT HAS SWITCHED ITSELF OFF.THE SWEEPER WILL THEN AGAIN LIFT FOR 15 SECONDS.
IF IT IS NECESSARY TO DRIVE FOR LESS THAN 15 SECONDS IN THE ELEVATED POSITION, YOU MUST PRESS THE RIDE-HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH
AGAIN WITHIN THE 15 SECONDS.THE SWEEPER WILL THEN DROP DOWN AGAIN TO ITS NORMAL DRIVE-HEIGHT.
D. 4.13 Third brush motor rotation direction switch
This switch (13) adjusts the rotation direction of the third brush.
This switch has three positions:
D. 4.13.1 Position '0'/centre position
In this position the brush is at a standstill and the water supply is shut off
D. 4.13.2 Position '1'/up position
In this position the third brush rotates clockwise and the water supply is released, provided the spraywater switch (11) is switched on and the joystick for the
third brush has been moved to the 'brush down' position
D. 4.13.3 Position '2'/down position
In this position the third brush rotates anti-clockwise and the water supply is released, provided the spraywater switch (11) is switched on and the joystick
for the third brush has been move to the 'brush down' position.
