E. 11 Third brush rapid replacement system (option)

The third brush option can be fitted with a rapid replacement system making it possible to quickly and easily install and/or uninstall the third brush option onto and off
the sweeper.
E. 11.1 Uninstalling the third brush using the rapid replacement system:
WARNING
ONLY USE THE THIRD BRUSH RAPID REPLACEMENT SYSTEM ON A PAVED AND FLAT SURFACE. ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE SYSTEM IS PLACED
IN A SAFE POSITION.
• Start the sweeper's engine.
• Position the third brush in the middle of the machine with the brush arm right out to the front.
• Set the front axle suspension to the highest position using the height control switch (9) on the dashboard.
• Stop the sweeper's engine.
• Undo the connector (1) for the third brush system at the front of the machine. Make sure that the connector is not able to get caught in between at any point.
• Undo the hydraulic rapid action couplings (2) and (3) and the water coupling (4) at the front of the sweeper. Make sure that the hoses cannot get caught in
between at any point.
• Remove the black cover caps (8) from the frame of the third brush.
• Install the rapid replacement supports (6) at both ends of the third brush. Make sure that the supports are set equally in terms of height and effectively connect
to the frame of the third brush.
• Remove the bolts (5) on the left- and right-hand side.
WARNING
THE SWEEPER WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADOPT THE NORMAL DRIVING HEIGHT AFTER BEING STARTED. KEEP YOUR HAND ON THE HEIGHT
ADJUSTMENT SWITCH (9) ON THE DASHBOARD WHILST LOWERING.
• Start the sweeper's engine.
• Allow the front axle suspension to lower and carefully drive the sweeper in reverse.
• Install the cover caps on to the hydraulic rapid action couplings (2) and (3) and the cap on the connector (1).
