E. 13 Working with the swasher (option)

The Swasher combines the benefits of a sweeper with those of a washer. The spray arm(s) mounted on the roof with the connected spray lance(s) provide maximum
freedom for cleaning difficult-to-access places, such as under cars, street furniture and dirty corners. The swasher needs to be operated by two people, the driver
and the operator of the spray arms with the spray lance.
E. 13.1 Implementation:
• Open the service door and unlock the swasher spray arm by pulling on the handle for the left side (4) and for the right side (3).
• Set the Empty/Drive/Sweep switch (1) to the Empty position.
• Switch the high-pressure water pump on using the switch (2) on the dashboard.
• Unroll the hose with the spray lance (5) from the self-rolling reel. The swasher is ready for use.

EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN USING THE SPRAY LANCE. ONLY AIM TOWARDS THE SURFACE TO BE CLEANED. WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE AND
HIGH-VISIBILITY CLOTHING, SUCH AS GLOVES, A RAIN SUIT AND FACE MASK.
WARNING
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT CLEAN AND FRESH WATER IS USED DURING SWEEPING OPERATIONS. UNFRESH, BRACKISH WATER MAY CAUSE DAMAGE
TO HEALTH. PREVENT BACTERIAL INFECTIONS BY REGULARLY RINSING THE WATER SYSTEM THROUGH WITH CLEAN WATER.
CAUTION!
ALWAYS TAKE ACCOUNT OF THE OTHER TRAFFIC WHEN USING THE SWEEPER. WHEN CARRYING OUT WORK WITH THE SWEEPER, ALWAYS
DEPLOY THE ASSOCIATED WARNING SIGNALS.
E. 13.2 High-pressure water pump pressure settings:
• The water pressure is adjustable using the black adjuster button (6) on the high-pressure water pump, which depends on the engine rpm (stationary is more
than sufficient).
The pump is fitted with a pressure control automated system, which limits the water pressure and switches off the pump when the high-pressure gun is switched
off. The output from the high-pressure water pump is then discharged to the water tank under normal pressure.
