F. 15.4 What to do after a period of frost

Carry out these instructions after a period of frost if the water spray pump and the water tanks have been drained. This procedure is also applicable after the
water spray pump has been replaced.
• Fill up the water tank completely.
• Open all taps to the water jets.
• Make sure the driver seat switch is activated, do this by sitting on the driver seat.
• Start the engine and set to 1500 RPM
• Set the switch empty/drive/sweep on the dashboard to sweep
• Set the switch for the brush on the dashboard to position 2 to switch on the brush jets
• Set the switch for the water spray pump on the dashboard to position 2 to switch on the jets in the suction mouth
• Lower the brushes and the suction mouth using the joystick
NOTE
IF THERE IS NOT SUFFICIENT WATER PRESSURE WITHIN 10 SECONDS THE WATER SPRAY PUMP WILL SWITCH OFF. THE LIGHT IN THE SWITCH FOR
THE WATER SPRAY PUMP WILL BEGIN TO INDICATE THERE IS NO WATER PRESSURE AVAILABLE.
If the light in the switch for the water spray pump begins to flash carry out the following steps.
• Switch off the water spray pump using the switch on the dashboard. The light will stop flashing.
• Set the switch for the water spray pump on the dashboard to position 2
• Repeat the above steps until water comes out of the jets.
