E. 1 Starting, Driving, Braking

The daily inspection points must be checked before starting.If no abnormalities are found while checking the daily inspection points, the engine can be started.
E. 1.1 Starting
• The driving direction switch/handbrake switch (6) must be in the neutral position
• Turn the ignition key (8) and leave it in position '1'. Wait until the iSystem LED display has started up and the indicator lights go out. All the operating switches
on the dashboard flash.
• Start the engine by briefly turning the ignition key (8) to position '2'
• Check all the indicator lights and gauges on the iSystem LED display (9)
• Pull away slowly after starting the engine
• Only apply a heavy load to the engine once it has reached the operating temperature.
NOTE:
DO NOT OPERATE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BEFORE OR DURING STARTING.IF THIS IS DONE THE MACHINE WILL NOT START
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE A BATTERY JUMP STARTER TO START THE SWEEPER.THIS MAY DAMAGE THE SWEEPER'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
CAUTION
IF THE WARNING SIGNAL AND INDICATOR LIGHTS (4) AND (5) DO NOT GO OUT WITHIN 7 SECONDS, STOP THE ENGINE IMMEDIATELY AND HAVE THE
SWEEPER CHECKED BY A MECHANIC WHO IS FAMILIAR WITH THE MACHINE.
