E. 9 Sweeping with the third brush (option)

The third brush is a powerful additional brush fitted to the front of the sweeper.The additional brush increases the sweeping range of the sweeper to 3200mm and to
1960mm at the front.As a result, the third brush is ideally suited to sweeping the pavement, trenches, gutters, etc.The third brush is ideally suited to removing weeds.
WARNING
YOU MUST NOT ALLOW ANY PERSONS WITHIN THE RANGE OF THE THIRD BRUSH WHEN THIS THIRD BRUSH IS IN USE.
WARNING
ALWAYS TAKE ACCOUNT OF THE OTHER TRAFFIC WHEN USING THE SWEEPER.WHEN CARRYING OUT WORK WITH THE SWEEPER, ALWAYS
DEPLOY THE ASSOCIATED WARNING SIGNALS.
WARNING
THE THIRD BRUSH SHOULD ONLY BE USED ON AN 5-SERIES RAVO ADAPTED FOR THE PURPOSE.INTERCHANGING THIS TO ANOTHER MACHINE IS
NOT POSSIBLE.
E. 9.1 Implementation:
• Set the Dump/Drive/Sweep switch (1) to Sweep.The sweeping screen will now be active on the iSystem LED display.
• Set the switch (2) into the position for the required rotation direction (see dashboard description)
• Put the third brush in the required operating position using the joystick (4) in the door console.The third brush can also be pivoted and slid from left to right with
the joystick (4).
• The switch (7) in the armrest is used to lower the third brush arm and activate brush rotation.
• Using controller (5), the rotational speed of the third brush can be continuously regulated from zero rpm/min to max.
• The angle of inclination (left/right) of the third brush can be adjusted with switch (9) (option)
• The angle of incidence (forward/backward) of the third brush can be adjusted with switch (8).
• This switch (6) releases the supply of spraywater to the third brush.
E. 9.2 Retraction:
• Switch the third brush off by using the push button in the door console (3).By pressing the button (3) once, the third brush will automatically retract.If button (3)
is pressed again during the retraction cycle, the retraction process will stop.If the button (3) is pressed again, then the third brush will return to its former
position.The third brush can also be switched off via the switches on the dashboard.The third brush will in both cases complete the standard retraction process.
