FUNCTION
Note: Call forwarding option must be enabled in Address 891, Option 7.
CALL-BACK TELEPHONE NUMBER
This Address sets the Telephone number that the system will use when dialling back the computer for Upload/Download.
The "Remote connect with Callback" option must be selected. (Address 512. Select option 2)
REPORTING FORMAT
This Address selects the reporting format that the system will use.
1 Contact ID. Reports to a Central Monitoring Station in Contact ID format via the PSTN Line connection.
2 Domestic Dialer. Reports to a private telephone with simple tone beeps via the PSTN Line connection.
3 Securitel / CFSK Not available in this Version.
8 Dual Reporting Reports to both of the programmed telephone numbers in Contact ID and/or Domestic Dialer formats.
NOTES:
"Domestic" Dialer format.
When the report is received by the remote Telephone, the Telephone User will hear:
• Beeps of the same tone to indicate an Area Opening or Closing event.
• Beeps of 2 different tones to indicate an Alarm Event.
The message is acknowledged by one of two methods, depending on whether a DTMF Card is fitted to the Controller:
1) DTMF Card NOT fitted: The message is acknowledged simply by the receiving telephone answering the call.
Once the alarm signal is heard, the User can simply hang-up the telephone.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Once the receiving telephone has answered the call, the alarm message is regarded as being acknowledged and will not be sent again,
regardless of whether a User has heard the alarm signal or not.
• This means that if an Answering Machine, Fax machine or similar device answers the call, the alarm will still be regarded as being
acknowledged.
• If this feature is used, care must be exercised in selecting appropriate telephone numbers to ensure that the alarm signal will be heard by
an appropriate User.
2) DTMF Card FITTED: The message is acknowledged by sending a # tone back to the Controller from the receiving telephone.
