Replacing the Heat Sink and CPU
When the CPU is positioned in the socket, lower the hinged socket retainer.

Lower the socket retainer lever, pressing it downward, and secure it under the lever retaining

Do this step only if you are installing a new CPU. If you are installing a used CPU, go to

a. Gently wipe the top of surface of the CPU, using the supplied alcohol wipe, and allow to dry.
b. Remove the plastic cover that protects the thermal compound on the bottom of the heat
