Handling and Storing Media
Handling Media
Do not use media that has been folded, creased, or heavily curled. It may result in paper jams.
Storing Media
The optimum environment for storing media is a place where the humidity is 40 to 45%. Keep the
followings in mind when storing media:
•
Moisture is not good for media. For storage, keep the media in the document wrapping and store
it in a comparatively dry place. Vellum especially should be put into a plastic or moisture-proof
bag.
•
When the machine is not used for extended intervals, remove the media and store it accordingly.
