Authentication / Security Settings

With Authentication / Security Settings, you can configure the machine's security settings.
Refer to these subsections for more information on each setting.
1.
On the System Administrator Menu screen, press Authentication / Security Settings.
For information on how to display the System Administrator Menu screen, refer to
Administrator Menu Settings Overview

Select the item you want to configure or change.

Password Entry from Control Panel

Specify whether to type in the password when displaying the System Administrator Menu.
We recommend that you set a password to enhance security.
When On is selected, the setting of
