CONTROL MOTOR

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the inner fender (page 2-9).
Disconnect the control motor 2P (Natural) connec-
tor.
Remove the left engine side cover (page 10-5).
Remove the two mounting bolts and control motor.
Coat a new O-ring with engine oil and install it into
the control motor groove.
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the motor shaft
splines and install the control motor into the front
crankcase cover by aligning the bolt holes.
Install the mounting bolts and tighten them.
