Overview of Connection to the REMCS Center

The connection configuration for connecting to the REMCS Center depends on the network configuration and
server configuration of the user. The connection configuration to be used must be determined beforehand.
The PRIMEQUEST 1000 series supports the following connection configurations. All of these connection
configurations use only SMTP to communicate with the REMCS Center.
- Internet connection (e-mail)
- P-P connection (ISDN: e-mail)
Field engineers make the setting for connecting to the REMCS Center.
