Section 9: Common Operations

This section details common tasks you will perform in the use of the Hybrid Quest™ DVR. For more common operations such as

Removing the Hard Drive for Playback
INSERTING A HARD DRIVE FROM ANOTHER DVR INTO THE
HYBRID QUEST™ WILL AUTOMATICALLY FORMAT THE DRIVE,
ERASING ALL RECORDED DATA THAT THE HARD DRIVE
CONTAINS. PLEASE BE SURE TO BACK UP ANY SENSITIVE
MATERIAL STORED ON A HARD DRIVE BEFORE INSERTING IT
INTO THE HYBRID QUEST™.
1.
Using the keys supplied, remove the front cover from the
Hybrid Quest™ by turning the medium-sized key (905)
clockwise (see Figure 1).

If your Hybrid Quest™ DVR has a lock on the main board,
use the smallest key supplied (1102) to unlock the hard
drive. To unlock the hard drive, turn the key one quarter turn
counter-clockwise. (see Figure 2).
3.
Lift the hard drive handle up to release it from the unit, then
slide it forward and out of the DVR (see Figure 3).
