Error Messages in PDM
The following error messages can be shown in the PDM. See also Installation and Operation
Manual, Portable Device Manager (PDM), Windows Version, TD 92325EN.
Error message
Aborted

Required" is enabled in the
handset in combination with;
1) Unencrypted base stations;
and/or,
2) Unsupported base
stations.
1)The license key is to short/
long
2) The license key is not valid.
1) The handset with the
shared phone functionality
enabled cannot be logged on
due to another handset using
the extension (that is, User).
2) The extension (User) does
not exists.
3) The password is not
correct.
Probable cause
1) Trying to downgrade the
software of a handset that
has been upgraded with a
product license and/or
functionality license.
2) The handset hardware
does not support the
software version you are
trying to downgrade to.

1) Disable the "Encryption
Required" parameter in
handset; and/or,
2) Enable the encryption in
the base station(s); and/or,
Note: If Ascom base stations
are used, the software version
must be 3.1.x or greater.
3) Use supported base
stations. Ask the handset
supplier.
1)Make sure that the license
key consists of 29 digits.
2) Generate a valid license
using the License Web.
1) Log off the handset using
the extension.
2) Make sure that you
entered correct extension. If
needed, contact the system
administrator.
3) Make sure that you have
entered correct password. Ask
the system administrator if
you have forgot the
password.
Action or comment
1) The licenses can be moved
to an unlicensed handset
(that is d62 Talker) using
IMS3/Unite CM.
2) Use another software
version. Ask you supplier.
