WIRING METHODS

PC-to ENVIROMUX Crossover Cable

In order to make a direct connection between a PC and the ETHERNET connector of the ENVIROMUX-SEMS, a crossover cable
must be used. The cable is made with CAT5 cable terminated with RJ45 connectors and wired according to the chart below.

RS485 Sensor Cable

The CAT5 connection cable between the ENVIROMUX and the external RS485 Sensors (page 10) is terminated with RJ45
connectors and must be wired according to the EIA/TIA 568 B industry standard. Wiring is as per the table and drawing below.
