Removal Procedures
Front Door Assembly
To remove the front door assembly, follow the steps below and refer to Figure
16.
1. Remove the top cover assembly (page 52).
2. Disconnect the label taken sensor cable (1) from connector J11 on the
controller PCBA.
3. Remove the cable tie and cable clamp (2) securing the label taken sensor
cable.
4. Loosen, but do not remove, the two screws (3) securing the control panel.
5. Pull the label taken sensor cable through the slot on the side of the control
panel.
6. Remove the two screws (4) securing the front door assembly (5) to the
upper and lower hinge plates (6).
7. After installing the front door assembly, check and adjust cable
clearances before operating the printer. (See page 94.)
8. Install the top cover assembly.
