Application software tried to
perform an illegal printer
function or damaged logic
circuits were detected on the
controller PCBA.
How To Clear LCD Messages
Solution
1. Cycle power. If the message
appears, power off the
printer.
2. Disconnect the input data
line from the host computer.
Power on the printer. If the
message appears,
download the emulation
software again. (See
Appendix D.)
3. Cycle power. Run the print
job again. If the message
appears, replace the
controller PCBA. If the
message is gone, there is
an application software
error. Request assistance
from your local support
group.
