Explanation
The printer cannot find the data
controller program or the
validation checksum is
corrupted.
The printer found a defective
memory location.
The printer encountered an
error trying to program flash
memory.
The printer could not find any
flash memory.
The printer does not recognize
the type of flash memory
installed.
The printer could not find any
DRAM.
The non-volatile memory has
failed.
The printer requires more
DRAM in order to run the
downloaded program.
The printer requires more flash
memory in order to run the
downloaded program.
Required Action
Download the program again:
Power off the printer and start
over at step 13. If the message
occurs again, replace the flash
SIMM at U38 or the controller
PCBA.
Reseat the DRAM SIMM at
U33. If the message occurs
again, replace the DRAM
SIMM or replace the controller
PCBA.
Download the program again:
Power off the printer and start
over at step 13. If the message
occurs again, replace the flash
SIMM at U38 or replace the
controller PCBA.
Reseat or replace flash SIMM
at U38. Flash SIMM must be
present. If the message occurs
again, replace the controller
PCBA.
Replace the Flash SIMM at
U38 with the recommended
type. Contact your authorized
service representative.
Reseat the DRAM SIMM at
U33. If the message occurs
again, replace the DRAM
SIMM or replace the controller
PCBA.

again, replace the DRAM
