MMB

The following MMB functions enable management of the entire system. The MMB also controls the entire system
in linkage with PSA (on the PRIMEQUEST 1800E) or SVS (on the PRIMEQUEST 1800E2), the BIOS, and the
BMC.
- System management functions
- Hardware monitoring
- Power control
- Fan control
- Web-UI functions for system management
- Partition configuration control
- Memory Mirror setting
- System initialization
- User privilege management
- Scheduled power supply operations
- Maintenance of each firmware
- Saving and restoring setting information
8.2.1

GUI (graphical user interface)

This section describes the GUI functions of the MMB.
The PRIMEQUEST 1000 series does not require any special software for system management. It can manage the
system with the Web-UI functions via the http/https protocol. Users use the GUI from a remote PC through a Web
browser.
For details on how to use the MMB Web-UI, see Chapter 1 MMB Web-UI (Web User Interface) Operations in
the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Tool Reference (C122-E110EN).
8.2.2

CLI (command line interface)

This section describes the CLI functions of the MMB. The MMB provides the CLI for system operations.
To access the CLI, use either of the following two procedures:
- Access via the serial port of the MMB
- Access from a remote PC via the management LAN of the MMB
