The high-performance, high-availability PRIMEQUEST 1000 series, which is certified by VMware and
VMware, Inc., is ideally suited for implementing a virtualization system.

Server management software

The PRIMEQUEST 1000 series provides the following server management software as standard.
SVS (ServerView Suite)
SVS is hardware monitoring software that comes with each model as standard. It consists of system integration
management tools that are commonly used for the PRIMEQUEST 1000 series and PRIMERGY to ensure easy and
secure installation, enable stable operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and facilitate system management.
The PSA-supported function in PRIMEQUEST 1800E is SVS-supported in PRIMEQUEST 1800E2, as follows.
- The hardware monitoring function for each partition, in linkage with the MMB notifies REMCS about
detected abnormalities.
- The function displays information to support maintenance work.
PRIMEQUEST Server Agent (PSA)
PSA is hardware monitoring software that is provided as standard. It provides the hardware monitoring function
for each partition and reports detected abnormalities in REMCS notifications in linkage with the MMB. (Part of
the function also performs REMCS notification in linkage with SVS.) PSA also provides information display
function and tools that support maintenance work.
PSA is provided only with the PRIMEQUEST 1800E.
The following table lists differences in function between SVS and PSA.
