CHAPTER 2 Hardware Configuration
The DVDB houses a control device for the system LEDs that display the system status.
System FRU
The DVDB houses a system FRU that stores unit information.
UEFI Backup ROM
The DVDB houses the UEFI Backup ROM that stores UEFI configuration information.
CVCF control
The DVDB houses the UPC interface (with two ports).
The UPC interface houses the ports for connecting a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and a power supply unit
(CVCF).
It is used to connect the power supply unit (CVCF) on the PRIMEQUEST 1000 series. Dual power feed uses two
ports (ports#0 and #1). Primary power feed uses one port (port#0).
DVDB LEDs
The DVDB is equipped with LEDs indicating the status of the entire unit and the MMB Ready LED. For details
on the DVDB LEDs, see F.1.6 DVDB in the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Administration Manual (C122-E108EN).
