CHAPTER 4 Functions Provided by the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series
If any of the following monitored items exceeds the threshold value, an event notification is issued to the MMB:
- Correctable DIMM error
- Correctable CPU error
- Correctable IOH error
- Correctable S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) error
The actions taken at the event notification time are listed below. The system event log is always output. The
destinations of the SNMP trap, the e-mail notification, and the REMCS notification must be set with the MMB
Web-UI. For details on REMCS, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series REMCS Installation Manual (C122-E120EN).
- SNMP trap (If the trap destination is specified, the MMB sends a trap.)
- E-mail notification (If e-mail notification is specified, the MMB sends e-mail.)
- REMCS notification (When REMCS connection is specified, the MMB sends a notification.)
- System event log output
