Working With Menus

6.10 Working With Menus

The 7535/7530 offers two ways to navigate menus and choose values – you can use
the keyboard, or you can select items by tapping a stylus on the screen. (Keep in
mind that some 7535s are not equipped with touchscreens — in these cases,
navigation will be limited to the keyboard.)
There are four types of parameters: numeric, Y/N, alpha and string entry. Some
menus have sub-menus attached to them and others utilize a Control Panel dialog
box to make adjustments.
Important:

6.10.1 Using The Keyboard To Navigate Through Menus

Press the <UP> and <DOWN> arrow keys to move the cursor up and down
the current menu.
The currently selected parameter name will be displayed in reverse video.

6.10.1.1 Sub-Menus

The "»" character appearing to the right of the menu item indicates that it has
a sub-menu.
Displaying Sub-Menus

menu item with the sub-menu you want to display.
Press <F1> – the "NEXT" menu function key.
