Getting.Started

Before you begin using the SoundPoint
IP 200W, it is a good idea to familiarize
yourself with the different features

Idle Mode

When the handset is powered on, the
display screen defaults to Idle mode.
Connection Status
Indicator
Out of gateway range
Offline
Ready
Handset Name
Call Log Soft Key
Allows you direct access
to the Call log.

System Status
To view system status, press the volume
up key on your handset when the screen is
in Idle mode.

Using the Dial Pad

When using the dial pad to dial a number,
you may use numeric characters only.
When using the dial pad to enter other in-
formation (such as adding a new contact),
you may use alphanumeric characters or
symbols. Two soft keys will be dis-
played: Erase and Options.

The Erase soft key enables you to erase
existing text or text that you have just
entered.
The Options soft key provides you with the
following two options: Input mode and
Insert symbol.

Indicator

ing in handset battery.

Provides you with call

on page 15 for more
