3. Locate the two pieces that comprise a rail, and the #8-32 x 3/8-inch flathead screws from the
rack mounting hardware kit contents.
NOTE:
The front rail piece has three long, beveled slots. The rear rail piece has holes.
a. To attach the two rail pieces, slide the rear rail piece behind the front rail piece so the
brackets are at opposite ends and bend away from you.
b. Counting from the end that slides behind the front rail, position the rear rail so its first, third,
and fifth holes are centered in the beveled slots of the front rail.
c. Install but do not completely tighten three #8-32 x 3/8-inch flathead screws into the slots.
Tighten them when instructed to do so.
d. Install rail hangers in the top and bottom holes of the front rail bracket and in the center hole
of the rear rail bracket.
e. Repeat this procedure for the other side rail, and for each enclosure to be added.
