• Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem
is solved.
• See the Parts Listing, TD200x Machine Types 3719, 3821, 3822, and 3823 to determine which
components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units
(FRU).
• If an action step is preceded by "(Trained service technician only)," that step must be performed only by
a trained service technician.

Description
A VRM has failed.
Action
a. Check the system-event log to determine the
reason for the lit LED (for a VRM).
b. Determine whether the CNFG LED is also lit. If
the CNFG LED is lit, the memory configuration is
invalid. Reseat the VRM.
c. If the CNFG LED is not lit, reseat the following
components:
1) Failing VRM
2) (Trained service technician only)
Microprocessor associated with the
VRM
d. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
1) Failing VRM
2) (Trained service technician only)
