3. Press the power switch on the HP NetServer's control panel when
prompted by the operating system. Normally, this is the complete
procedure.
NOTE The power supplies will continue to provide standby current to
the NetServer until the power cable is disconnected.
4. Disconnect the power cord and signal cables, and if necessary, label them
to support reassembly.
5. Pull the server out from the rack on its slides. Then remove the top cover.
(See Chapter 3 for details.)
6. If you are going to install a board in slots P1 through P6, lift off the metal
shield that covers these slots. See Figure 6-2.
