Common SNMP configuration parameters

Description
Enables (True) or disables (False) SNMP on the switch. The default is
True.
Specifies the name of the person to be contacted to respond to trap
events. The name can be up to 64 characters excluding #, semicolon (;),
and comma (,). The default is undefined. This value is also passed to the
Call Home service configuration.
Specifies the name of the switch location. The name can be up to 64
characters excluding #, semicolon (;), and comma (,). The default is
undefined. This value is also passed to the Call Home service
configuration.
Read community password that authorizes an SNMP agent to read
information from the switch. This is a write-only field. The value on the
switch and the SNMP management server must be the same. The read
community password can be up to 32 characters excluding #, semicolon
(;), and comma (,). The default is public.
Write community password that authorizes an SNMP agent to write
information to the switch. This is a write-only field. The value on the
switch and the SNMP management server must be the same. The write
community password can be up to 32 characters excluding #, semicolon
(;), and comma (,). The default is private.
Trap community password that authorizes an SNMP agent to receive
traps. This is a write-only field. The value on the switch and the SNMP
management server must be the same. The trap community password
can be up to 32 characters excluding #, semicolon (;), and comma (,).
The default is public.
Enables (True) or disables (False) the generation of traps in response
to trap authentication failures. The default is False.
Enables (True) or disables (False) SNMP communication with other
switches in the fabric. The default is True.
Enables (True) or disables (False) SNMP version 3. The default is
False.
