Network >
The H.331 Broadcast Mode decides the negotiation quality, dependent on if there is a one-way or two-way
communication.
ISDN > or
ON: Used when broadcasting a videoconference from one site to many others, e.g. via satellite, where
ISDN, External, Leased E1/T1 >
there is no possibility to negotiate quality between the receivers and the originator due to one-way
H.331 SETTINGS
communication.
OFF: Standard two-way communication with quality negotiation between both sides.

IP PROTOCOL
Network >
The Internet Protocol (IP) settings are used for communicating data across a network.
Set which Internet Protocols are supported.
LAN Settings >
IPV4: IP version 4 supported.
IP SETTINGS
IPV6: IP version 6 supported. IP Address, IP Subnet Mask, and Gateway will be disabled.
BOTH: Both IP version 4 and IP version 6 supported.

IP ASSIGNMENT
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) can be selected when a DHCP server is present.
Network >
Note that for IPv6, the DHCP server is used for NTP and DNS Server Addresses.
LAN Settings >
IP SETTINGS
DHCP: The system's adresses are automatically assigend by the DHCP server. Thereby the IP-address, IP-
subnet mask and Gateway are not used and grayed out.
STATIC: The system's IP-address, IP-subnet mask and Gateway must be specified in the respective address
fields.

External Manager

If the DHCP Option 242 is returned in the DHCP response from the DHCP server the system will
interpret this as the External Manager address to use.

Normally the External Manager Address will be the TMS address.
