Connect external peripherals and power cables.

Run the Setup program to set your new configuration

Use the following procedure to install a device in the 3
1/2-inch internal device bracket.
Follow the preinstallation instructions that come with

your device, such as setting jumpers and switches.
See "Device Preparation" earlier in this chapter for
device preparation information.
Remove the system unit cover (see Chapter 5).

WARNING: Be sure that system power
is off and the system and its peripherals are un-
plugged before you begin the installation procedure.
Install the device in the chassis as follows:

Hold the device in the open bay in the top of the
chassis.

Align the device mounting holes with the mounting
holes in the chassis (see the following figure).
