Remove the screw securing an expansion slot cover and

Save the screw for installing the board. Keep the slot
cover in a convenient place for possible future use.
CAUTION: A slot cover can damage the
system board or option board if it falls into the sys-
tem unit. Take special care to keep the slot cover
from falling when you remove the screw.
Hold the board by its edges and insert it into the expan-

sion slot.
Press the board firmly into the expansion slot connector
on the riser board. You might have to gently rock the
board from side-to-side to seat it into the connector.
