Remove the left side fairing.
Using a flathead screwdriver (or
a coin) unscrew and remove the
cap (4).
Insert the special wrench (5)
found in the tool kit, and loosen
the internal nut (6).
Insert a flathead screwdriver in
the special wrench (5) and com-
pletely tighten the adjustment
screw (7).
Loosen the adjustment screw
(7) by one half turn, correspond-
ing to 0.12 - 0.16 in (3 - 4 mm)
of clearance for the lever (8).

Using the screwdriver, keep the
adjustment screw (7) blocked,
and using the special wrench
(5), block the internal nut (6) in
place.
Tighten the cap (4).
Check the clearance at the ex-
tremity of the clutch lever (0.39 -
0.59 in, 10 - 15 mm).
Replace the left side fairing.
Start the engine.
Completely activate the clutch,
and insert first gear.
Make sure that the engine does not stop
and that the vehicle does not move for-
ward, and that the friction does not "slide"
during acceleration or during driving.
Serrer complètement le régula-
teur (1).
Déposer le carénage latéral
gauche.
À l'aide un tournevis plat (ou
d'une pièce de monnaie), dévis-
ser et enlever le bouchon (4).
Insérer la clé spéciale (5), pré-
sente dans le kit d'outils fournis,
et desserrer l'écrou interne (6).
Insérer un tournevis plat dans la
clé spéciale (5) et visser com-
plètement la vis de réglage (7).
Desserrer la vis de réglage (7)
d'un demi-tour, correspondant à
0,12 - 0,16 in (3 - 4 mm) de cour-
se du levier (8).
À l'aide du tournevis, maintenir
la vis de réglage (7) bloquée,
agir sur la clé spéciale (5) et ser-
rer l'écrou interne (6).
Revisser le bouchon (4).
Contrôler la course à vide à l'ex-
trémité du levier d'embrayage
(0,39 - 0,59 in, 10 - 15 mm).
Remonter le carénage latéral
gauche.
Démarrer le moteur.
Actionner complètement l'em-
brayage et enclencher la pre-
mière vitesse.
S'assurer que le moteur ne s'arrête pas
ou que le véhicule ne tend pas à avancer
ou bien que l'embrayage ne "patine" pas
pendant la phase d'accélération ou pen-
dant la marche.
