Checking the fuses is necessary when-
ever an electrical component fails to op-
erate or is malfunctioning or when the
engine does not start.
Position the ignition switch to "key off", in
order to avoid an accidental short circuit.
Lift up the fuel tank.

Extract one fuse at a time and
check whether the filament is
broken.
When you find a blown fuse, de-
termine and rectify the cause (if
possible), before fitting a new
one.
Replaced any failed fuses with a
fuse of equal current rating.

WHEN YOU USE ONE OF THE SPARE
FUSES, REMEMBER TO ADD A NEW
ONE OF EQUAL RATING TO THE
FUSE BOX.
EXISTE UN COURT-CIRCUIT OU UNE
SURCHARGE.

En cas de manque de fonctionnement ou
de fonctionnement irrégulier d'un compo-
sant électrique ou si le moteur ne démar-
re pas, il faut contrôler les fusibles.
Positionner l'interrupteur d'allumage sur
« KEY OFF » afin d'éviter un court-circuit
accidentel.
Soulever le réservoir de carburant.
Extraire un fusible à la fois et
contrôler si le filament est inter-
rompu.
Avant de remplacer le fusible,
rechercher, si possible, la cause
du problème.
Remplacer le fusible, s'il est en-
dommagé, par un autre de mê-
me ampérage.

SI UN FUSIBLE DE RÉSERVE EST UTI-
LISÉ, VEILLER À EN INSTALLER UN
AUTRE IDENTIQUE À L'ENDROIT AP-
PROPRIÉ.
