This indicates the type of mapping supported by the STS-p SPE.
Options Description
ASYNC DS3 mapped to STS Asynchronous
ATM ATM signal (53 bytes)
DL Data link transported in byte F2 of byte
synchronous (SYNC) mapping.
DQDB Supports main mapping
DS4NA DS4NA signal (139.264 Mbps)
FDDI FDDI signal (125 Mbps)
STCBIT STS asynchronous mapping but DS1s are
internally mapped first to DS3 CBIT parity
format.
STM23 Async mapping but DS1s are internally
mapped first to DS3 M23 format.
SYNC STS Sync mapping for DS3 byte observable
SYNTRAN mapping.
VTFLOAT Indicates floating VT mode
VTLOCK Indicates locked VT mode, cannot transport
async mapped VT SPEs
This parameter specifies the threshold value for the monitored
type (montype).
