"Blind/shutter" function

If the input function is parameterized for "Blind/shutter", several parameters for the blind/shutter function as well
as the "Short-time operation" and "Long-time operation" objects will be visible. The "Operating concept" parameter
predefines the telegram sequence for short and long-time telegrams that are transmitted with or during a key-
press.
- Short – Long - Short":
Pressing the key will transmit a step command and time T1 is started ("Time between short and long-time
operation"). If the key is released within T1, no further telegram will be transmitted. This STEP serves the purpose
of stopping a continuous move.
If the key is pressed for more than T1, a MOVE command is automatically transmitted after T1 has elapsed while
time T2 ("slat adjustment time") is started. If the key is released again within T2, the binary input will transmit a
STEP telegram. This function is used for the adjustment of the slats. T2 should correspond to the time needed for
a slat rotation through 180°.
- Long - Short":
Pressing a key will transmit a MOVE command and time T1 is started ("slat adjustment time"). If the key is
released again within T1, the binary input will transmit a STEP telegram. This function is used for the adjustment
of the slats. T1 should correspond to the time needed for a slat rotation through 180°.
The "Command on rising edge" parameter determines the polarity of the telegrams for long or short-time
operation, i.e. their activated direction depending on the actuated (left or right) key. Executable commands may
include "UP", "DOWN" or "TOGGLE".
Important:
A special role is played by the "TOGGLE" key function. For example, in the operation concept:
Step – Move – Step
(on a press of the key, the blind is to move visibly in the direction of the MOVE, before the step-move time has
elapsed)
-
toggling takes place at every move
every step is executed in a direction opposite the one of the last move
-
several successive steps have the same direction
-
Move – Step
after a move telegram, the step object value of the step telegram is adapted to the move object value.
