6.2 Replacing Joint #2 Reduction Gear Unit

A reduction gear unit consists of the following three parts and one attached parts. At

replacing the reduction gear unit, be sure to always replace them all together as one set.

Reduction gear unit : Waveform generator, Flexspline, Circular spline

Hexagonal wrench

Torque wrench

Wiping cloth

Grease (SK-1A)

width across flats: 2.5 mm

width across flats: 4 mm

width across flats: 6 mm

(For G10-65***/G10-85***:

S/N: 1**** or later)

For M5 set screw

For M5 screw

For M8 screw

Tightening torque

10.0 N⋅m (102 kgf⋅cm)

Tightening torque

30.0 N⋅m (306 kgf⋅cm)

For apply grease

For wiping grease (Flange)

For wiping grease (Bolt)

Length about 20 mm

For flexspline removal
