5.
Confirm the text in the displayed dialogue box with OK.
6.
Save the project file by clicking OK.
ð The SERVOPACK must then be restarted to take the changed parameter into
account.
On a Sigma-7 EtherCAT SERVOPACK, in conjunction with Semi-Closed Loop Control,
alarm A.070 may be displayed first. The explanation given in the alarm causes (A Rotary
Servomotor was removed and a Linear Servomotor was connected) is not applicable
here and can be ignored. If the alarm A.CA0 (Encoder Parameter Error) is displayed, this
means that the feedback module is empty.
If the encoder or scale parameters have not been written in the module, A.CF1 or A.CA0
(Encoder Parameter Error) will occur when the power is turned ON. Monitor the encoder
or scale data using the monitoring function to see if the encoder or scale parameters are
saved in the module. If they are not saved, write the encoder or scale parameters and
then turn the power OFF and then ON again to monitor the encoder or scale data.
If the proper encoder or scale parameters have not been written, the following alarms will
occur when the power is turned ON:
n
A.8A0 (External Encoder Error), A.8A1 (External Encoder Error of Module),
n
A.8A2 (External Encoder Error of Sensor), A.8A3 (Extern Encoder Error of Position)
