Status Lights

Emulation Probe Target Status Lights

The emulation probe uses status lights to communicate various modes and
error conditions.
The following table gives more information about the meaning of the power
and target status lights.
❍ = LED is off
G = LED is on
Power/Target Status Lights

❍ RST
No target system power, or emulation probe is not
❍ DBG
connected to the target system
❍ RUN
G RST
Target system is in a reset state
❍ DBG
❍ RUN
❍ RST
The target processor is in Debug Mode

The target processor is executing user code
❍ DBG
G RUN
❍ RST
Only boot firmware is good (other firmware has been

corrupted)
G RUN

The emulation probe can no longer control the target. Reset

the target, then initialize the emulation probe.
