CAUTION:
1 Turn off power to the emulation probe.
2 Disconnect all cables from the emulation probe, including the power
3 Remove the cover from the emulation probe:
This chapter will tell you how to install an Agilent E5902B emulation
migration so that you can use your emulation probe with a new processor
family.
The E5902B emulation migration can be used with any E5900B emulation
probe. It cannot be used with E5900A emulation probes.

To install the emulation migration

Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Use grounded
wrist straps and mats.
The tools necessary for this procedure are supplied with the emulation

migration.

cord, LAN cable, serial cable, module/probe interconnect cable, and
target cable.
a Remove the 2 nuts and 2 screws from the front of the emulation
probe.
