The machine receives the operational stop command (disable) and
brakes the drive using the set braking ramp (STOPMODE and ACT-
FAULT parameters set to "1").
The drive is braked in a controlled manner as it comes to a stop. If the
speed VEL0 (see timing diagram in the section entitled "Switch on/
switch off behaviour") drops below the set value, the holding brake is
applied and the inverted rectifier is shut down. In this case, the mains
voltage is maintained.
If the mains is switched off, not only is a controlledbraking procedure
initiated but the mains voltage is galv a nically isolated from theholding
brake after a delay, which can be set on the timer.
