Configuring Level 2 Component
Enterprise Archive architecture
After you have successfully configured Level 1 components in a Nortel
TDM Recorder system, as described in the previous chapter, you have
completed the basic configuration. You can then install the optional
Enterprise Archive component. That component is described in the
following section:
Enterprise Archive architecture
This chapter describes the Level 2 component as shown in the following
illustration:
The open architecture of Nortel TDM Recorder allows enterprises to
optionally propagate to enterprise archival systems. Nortel TDM Recorder
leverages the Archive Manager component that is used in conjunction with
the same Retriever component used by Viewer for replay. This is illustrated
in the following diagram:
